Art/Music Department
Many third fourth and fifth graders participated in this years holiday show. They performed music about Hanukkah, Christmas, and peace on earth. Fourth and fifth graders performed on a variety of instruments such as the recorder, handbells, bells, drums and other percussion instruments. The third graders delighted the audience, and themselves with dance and song. The Tropical Chorus performed a difficult two-part song as well as a song in Latin. The finale included all students singing Jubilate Deo in rounds and of course, We Wish you a Merry Christmas. The event was enjoyed by all.
The Tropical Chorus will resume every Wednesday beginning in February. They will be working on songs to perform at the talent show in May.
